ALL ABOUT ME

WHO AM I?

    Helou everyone! My name is Dave Otniel Prayoga, I am currently 15 years old. I am a student in SMAN 3 Bandung and yes, I live in Indonesia. I am also the first child of my loving parents and my little sister's name is Gwen, and she is very young compared to me, because we have a 12 year gap between our age.

    I really like to try new things, new things that doesn't involve sports because I don't like moving a lot  😬. One of my favorite hobby is drawing! drawing horses to be specific or anything animal based, but I specifically like horses, OH and cats. I love cats.

PRIDE

    So after finishing Junior Highschool, I decided that I am going to go to SMAN 3, the best public high school instead of continuing in a private high school. Now the reason that I pick SMAN 3 is because it is the best high school in Bandung, in fact most of Indonesia's leaders graduated from there too, for example Habibie. Not only that, most of my family members who are successful also switched from a private junior high school to SMAN 3, so it is basically a tradition in our family.

SADNESS

    But the real reason I decided to switch to SMAN 3 was because that I had no friends during junior Highschool, very sad. The reason is that I never felt like I fitted in. Even with "The Boys" I was never invited to play in games or any activities together 💀. I assumed that because I was smart or in other words, a nerd, they treated me differently. So instead of continuing to the private high school where there are the same individuals that I despise in junior high school, I rather start fresh with new people in a public high school aka SMAN 3.

HOPE

    And so the studying began and the preparation night after night, hoping to pass the test that SMAN 3 gives to students who picks the accomplishments path. I had doubts, doubts that I should just continue the private high school journey, but then I asked myself, "Why should I follow my so called 'friends', when I would then get nothing in return?" and so I got even more motivated to study to get the glorious "You Have Been Excepted In Our School" message on my laptop.

SALVATION

    The Gods have heard my callings and woes. They have decided to answer my biggest question, "Do I deserve to be in this school?" 

and They said yes.

I GOT EXCEPTED INTO SMAN 3 WOOOOO

Long story short, I went to the school, did the test, walked out with confidence knowing that I had studied, and I passed.

SEQUEL

    Now that I am in SMAN 3, how does it feel? How should I feel? I mean what did I expect, I am now surrounded by people with different religion and believes and I don't know anyone.

Until I met Him..

I won't say His name but I'm sure He knows.

He who made me feel comfortable.

He who helped me on my downs.

He who introduced me to others.

And the others would do the same.

Thank you for the most welcoming 3 days of my life.

So at the end of it all, I ended on top, with my new found friends who had picked me up from the bottom ❤
